Located at the southern entrance to Châtel-St-Denis, close to the A12 freeway, the Fracheboud SA site is undergoing an ambitious transformation as part of the Grisoni Group's rehabilitation program. The project involves the partial deconstruction and upgrading of a storage hall, as well as the complete reconstruction of the administration building. A second volume, which will remain in operation during the works, will be redeveloped at a later date.
The new site comprises a 500 m² logistics hall, including depot, workshop, transshipment, washing compartment and materials processing area, and tertiary spaces including offices, meeting rooms and cafeteria. The external layout has been redesigned to include secure parking for site vehicles, skips and containers, as well as a dedicated parking lot for staff and visitors.
The reinforced-concrete administration building features a powder-coated aluminum facade on the first floor and a ceramic facade on the upper floor, with large metal windows and light-filtering screens. The steel-framed hall is clad in sandwich panels. Interior finishes combine tiles, industrial carpeting, resin and plaster.
The energy system is based on an innovative geothermal installation (three probes up to 640 m), combined with solar thermal collectors, enabling both heating and the collection of geological data that is rare in the region.
