This villa is built on the family plot in the center of the village of Remaufens. Set in an already well-built context, the project features two above-ground storeys.
The first floor houses the daytime areas, as well as a garage, utility room and laundry room. The upper floor, positioned perpendicularly above the first floor, houses the «night» spaces. In addition to offering a variety of views of the surrounding area, this staggered layout allows for the creation of a covered entrance and a protected terrace, with no addition other than the volume of the building.
Gutter facades feature a slight eaves, integrated into the facade. The gable facades, on the other hand, have no eaves, thus retaining sharper lines. This makes it easier to read the two superimposed volumes.
The desire to separate the villa's two volumes is also reflected in the building materials used. The first floor is made of concrete with perimeter insulation, while the upper floor is made of terracotta brick with a ventilated facade of Fundermax panels.
